Muffin Tin Monday X 2

Monday morning and we're moving rather slow!  We're supposed to be on the road to pick up my sister right now, but Cocoa is still eating and I'm not even dressed.  That's right.  After two days in the car, I'm throwing the kids in their seats and driving an hour to pick up my sister.  Feeling a little guilty about that, so I made the kids a Muffin Tin Breakfast this morning. 

As always, Bean has a cut up version.  Cocoa's breakfast (from top left, clockwise): Sausage links, sweet roll, banana, blueberry muffin, sweet roll, syrup for dipping sausage, and a Danimals Yogurt Smoothie. 

I wasn't suprised that Cocoa loved the smoothie, but was pleasantly surprised when Bean went to town on it!

Last week's Muffin Tin Meal was a beach theme, since we were at the beach.

From top left, clockwise: goldfish crackers; cucumber and cheese "oyster and pearl"; Shells and cheese with goldfish crackers and hotdog octopus; vanilla pudding ocean with green sprinkles ocean, graham cracker sand, and "Finding Nemo" gummies; banana dolphin; and more shells and cheese.  This was a big hit with Cocoa and her grandparents!

"Greek to Me" New Lucky Smith Designs

Good Monday morning everyone!  I am resting and relaxing on the gorgeous sands of Topsail Island in North Carolina.  Go on, you can be jealous.  Apart from Bean deciding that sleep is not something he would like to have on this trip, everything is great!  I'll have some great pics/layouts in the near future of our time here.  Later today or tomorrow I'll have a super fun Muffin Tin lunch as well!

This morning, Lucky Smith Designs has a new kit out at Elemental Scraps called "Greek to Me".  This kit is so much fun.  If you've taken a trip to Greece, it would definitely be worth the purchase.  Sadly, I have not had the opportunity to visit Greece, but there is so much you can do with this kit regardless!  She has fun word art for "Herculean Task", "Achilles Heel", "Midas Touch" and "Siren Song".  Great possibilities. She really wanted to climb the rope ladder last summer, but just wasn't quite brave enough to get past the second step.  She's a pro now! :)

I can't wait to do something with that black and blue scalloped paper.  Aren't the colors fantastic?!?!  Hmmm... thinking a nice page of me holding one of my favorite things... I glass of wine!  Perhaps I should start research for that now.  I'M ON VACATION!!!!

Packing, Scrapping and Priorities

Tomorrow morning we pack a three-year-old, a one-year-old and a large number of binkies and movies into our van and head to TopSail Island in North Carolina.  This should be an interesting trip since Cocoa is potty trained (kind of) and Bean hates his car seat.  Dear Lord, let me live through this...

Naturally, since we're leaving tomorrow, I've waited until the last minute to pack and clean the house.  Instead, I've been scrapping all week.  I really need to learn what a priority is...  Please click on the links of the layout name for full credits.

Little Things: I actually scrapped this in May for a digimorph challenge at Two Peas.  Basically, there is a list of people in the morph.  The first person gets the first layout, lifts it, and then passes her creation onto the next person. The only layout you see is the layout of the person in front of you. When the morph is over, it's fun to see how the last layout morphed from the original. 

First Tube Ride: This was created for the "Tuesday Template" challenge at ScrapMatters.  Thanks to Stef for a fabulous template!

Fireworks:  Bean goes to bed at 6 and Cocoa at 7:30.  This year, we let her stay up to see the fireworks.  We paid for it later.  :)

A Llama with Mama: These photos are from a Memorial Day parade.  The local news snapped a few pictures of Cocoa and sent them to my mother.  I used my new "Digital Pea in the Spotlight" kit for this one.  This was created for a SpeedScrap at ScrapMatters.

I might have internet at the beach, but I'm not sure yet.  You better believe that laying out on the sand and watching the waves is going to take up most of my time though.  Hmmm.... maybe I do know what my priorities are.  I'm just not very good at keeping them!  :)
