Tuesday New Releases

Kick out the winter blahs and check out Kerry Stewart's new kit "Snow Much Fun: Blueberry Ice and Strawberry Ice".  Perfect for those winter photos that you're capturing out in the snow, it's jam packed with the CUTEST papers and elements. Check out the layouts I created!

Snow Baby

Polar Bear Family
(The mascot of our college is the polar bears... elements worked so well with this story!)

Check out these kits and Kerry's store at Two Peas in a Bucket.  We actually headed out into our backyard this morning for some snow fun, so I'm sure I'll have more layouts to scrap with this kit!

Last Guest Post

October is almost over, which means my guest spot at Two Peas in a Bucket is coming to an end.  I have had TOO MUCH FUN working with the designer's kits.  It's been awesome!  So, here are some of my last layouts as a guest creative team member, but I'll be using these kits over and over!

This week I had the pleasure of creating with Polka Dot Pixels "BFF" kit and Jen Martakis' "Roar!" kit.  Here are two layouts I created:

And here's one using Kerry Stewart's new release "Full Measure" photo overlays.

Thank you to Erica Hernandez and the Two Peas in a Bucket Digital Creative Team for allowing me to create with them this month!

New Release: Kerry Stewart

Back again!  Today in the Two Peas in a Bucket store, Kerry Stewart released her "Fall Flourish" frames.  I had a sweet picture of our family from the pumpkin patch, so check out what I did with it!

Kerry also has a freebie available: Halloween Apothecary Labels.  Who doesn't love a good freebie!?!?

My exciting news is going to have to wait until tomorrow because I think it deserves it's own post.  But if you look around my blog, you might figure out what it is! :)

"Perfect Pumpkin"

This past Sunday, we hit the pumpkin patch and my mom came along for the trip.  Kerry Stewart released a new kit today called "Perfect Pumpkin".  It was PERFECT for these layouts!

I have another layout planned with this kit for Cocoa, so you'll be seeing that soon.

On a different note, I am SUPER THRILLED to share some news I've been sitting on for about a month.  Last month I was fortunate enough to guest design with Scrap Originals (Thanks Pam!).  This month I'll be guesting with TWO PEAS IN A BUCKET!  Super excited!  I'll be back Thursday with some layouts for this week's kits.  I leave you with a preview of Kerry's new kit.  Check it out!

Tuesday New Releases... on Wednesday

Well, yesterday was a bit of a blur, so I didn't get my post in.  BUT!  Kerry Stewart came out with two new kits that fit together and are ADORABLE!!!  Here's the layout I did with her new brads and frames kits:

And here are the previews of the kits:

SUPER CUTE!!!  I haven't been able to play with them as much as I'd like, so I'm planning on doing more of that today!  Head over to Two Peas in a Bucket to check out all of the new digi goodies in the store!

All Finished Friday

Happy Friday everyone!  I don't have a lot of time, so here's what I've been working on this week.  I have been creating more, but it's been for the October releases at Owl Tree Studio, and I can't reveal those yet! :)  Here's what you can see:

I actually created this a few weeks ago for a digimorph, but it was just revealed.

Using Kerry Stewarts "Messy Stitches"

I also created a quick page using Studio Vivarant's "The Lighter Side"

Have a great weekend everyone!  As long as my Fall weather arrives, I'll be a happy girl.  Mother Nature didn't get the memo here in Ohio and the first day of Fall was 92 degrees and will be again today.  HELLO?!?! I need a crisp breeze, the smell of grass on a football field, and jeans and a sweatshirt!  This is my FAVORITE time of year!

All Finished Friday... oops

Well, I didn't get my layouts posted yesterday.  I was exhausted and went to bed early.  In fact, I fell asleep and let Cocoa stay up an extra half hour while we watched Nick Jr.  Oops.  Anyway, here are the layouts I finished this week.  Enjoy!

I didn't use traditional colors for this because I really liked the orange in Cocoa's shirt.

This one was done for a challenge at Two Peas in a Bucket.
I'll probably fix it to be 12x12 because I don't scrap this size.
Also used Kerry Stewart's "Sum Total" clipping masks for this one.

Tuesday!  That means new digi goodies in the store at Two Peas in a BucketKerry Stewart has come out with a new set of clipping masks called "Sum Total".  They are AWESOME!  I can see myself using these over and over.  Here's what I did with it so far, and there's more to come, I'm sure!

I used Kerry's new clipping masks along with her "M is for Monogram" alphabet and Scrap Originals "Pause" kit (I'm guesting with Pam for the month of September).    Below is a preview of the "Sum Total" clipping masks

Head over to Two Peas and check out all of the amazing goodies in the store today!

Tuesday New Releases

A great new release from Kerry Stewart is available in the Two Peas in a Bucket store today!  Kerry has put together a set of "Messy Stitches", that have an autumn theme.  You get stitched leaves and wordart in both black and white.  I used a wordart stitching of the word "beauty" for the layout below.

Here's a preview of the kit:

I can't wait to snap some pictures of the kids playing in the leaves!  These stitches will be perfect!

Carefree Alpha

Tuesday means new digikits in the store at Two Peas in a Bucket!  Today, Kerry Stewart (Kerry'd Away Designs) came out with a fun little alphabet called "Carefree" alpha.  I took yesterday's Muffin Tin meal photos and came up with this lovely sushi layout!
I also used Kerry's "Down by the Sea" kit.  Isn't that alphabet fun? It comes in blue, white, and the outline.  Here's the preview:
Here's one more layout that I did for a challenge at Two Peas (with a great free template!).  The kit is from Karen Funk's "Make it Count" at Design House Digital.  I told you I was heading over the to buy more kits!
If this is what Karen has just starting out, I can't wait to see what the future has in store for her!

New Release: "Summer Reading"

The librarian in me is partying inside!  Kerry'd Away Designs has a new kit called "Summer Reading".  This kit can be used for summer reading lists, library summer reading clubs, layouts of you or your kids reading... so many uses!  It makes me wish I was actually a practicing elementary librarian right now.  Oh, someday... when the kiddos are in school...  I digress.  Here's Kerry's kit:

And here are the pages I made with it.
Little Reader

Summer Reading

There is something about that compass and little cloud that just draws me in. And do you see the card from an old card catalog?!?!  *sigh*  Head over to Two Peas in a Bucket to pick up this kit today!

Just a few layouts...

I'm trying to get Bean's first year book completed... that's why I've got layouts of pumpkin picking and Christmas!  If you haven't ventured over, Two Peas in a Bucket digital designers put out some great freebies this week.  The first layout was done with a freebie by Michelle Underwood.  Check them out!

Please click on the title's for full credits.  I've been scrapping a lot more than this, but most of it is for new releases coming out on Sunday at Owl Tree Studio and Tuesday for Kerry'd Away Designs at Two Peas in a Bucket.  A promise of more great kits!

Hiatus and a New Release

Well, I've neglected both my blogging duties and my scrapbooking duties, but for good reason.  My husband just accepted a new job, and I found out on Sunday that we're moving and I have to have my house ready for showings by the beginning of next week!  I'm SUPER BUSY!!!  But, I decided to take a step back this morning to create a page with a new release from Kerry'd Away Designs

Kerry's new release "Curvalicious Clipping Masks V2" are available at Two Peas in a Bucket.  These masks are GREAT for summer pages.  They come with word art for "picnic", "summer", "fun" and some shapes too.  I can't wait to make some more pages, but this is all I have time for at the moment.

For "Swim" I also used Kerry's release from last week "Down by the Sea".

I hope to be able to blog again soon.  But for now, it's back to cleaning, organizing, and then recleaning and organizing what the kids tear out....

I'm going "Seaside"...

with Kerry'd Away Designs new release "Down by the Sea"!  Kerry has come out with a new kit at Two Peas in a Bucket, and it is A.D.O.R.A.B.L.E!!!  Perfect for scrapping summer trips to the beach, pool, fishing, or tons of other possibilities too!  There are some great papers in here that are versatile for any layout.  Here's the kit:

And do you see the little crab?!?!  I love him!  I am so enamored with him that I included him in three of the four layouts I created over the weekend with this kit.  I've already done four layouts...

That's a not-so-happy Bean, but the crab paper was PERFECT for this picture.
For this layout, I only used the papers from "Down by the Sea".  I used Kerry's "All in the Family" word block as well as "Cherry Blossom" frame and button.  I can't get enough of this vintage grey/black paper.  There's a peachy toned one as well that I actually started with in this layout.  Both great!

Two... wait... Three Big Hungry Bears

Muffin Tin Monday at Her Cup Overfloweth
It's Monday, so we had a Muffin Tin lunch today.  During the summer, Muffin Tin Mom takes a hiatus from themes.  So, if you want a theme, you can make one up yourself.  I was all set for a lunch of things that start with "A", but I didn't get to the store last night... more on that later.  So, this morning Cocoa wanted me to read "The Little Mouse, The Red, Ripe Strawberry, and the Big Hungry Bear" by Don Wood.

Voila! Muffin Tin Monday meal theme!  This was totally spur of the moment, and remember I didn't go to the grocery store.  I just pulled some stuff out of the cupboards and went with it!  The mouse (which looked more like a cat, so I tried to make the nose look longer...) is a blueberry pancake, blueberry eyes and nose tip, and strawberry whiskers, nose, and mouth.  Then, there is a bear muffin tin of mini chocolate bear grahams and a tin of strawberries, cut in half ("Cut it in two. Give half to me, and we'll both eat it all up.  YUM!").

No, I don't have three children.  This is my sister (we'll call her Aunt Sweet Tea... it's all she drinks and she's toothpick thin).  You see, our basement flooded this weekend, so Aunt ST was down to help take care of the kids while I talked with the insurance company and clean up crew.  This is one of the reasons I didn't get to the store last night.  Bean and Aunt ST did not have a cute pancake mouse, but they still engaged in the scrum-diddly-ump-tious lunch.  :)

I have been scrapping, but I'm holding off on sharing my layouts until tomorrow.  Head over to the Two Peas in a Bucket store after 10am EST to see Kerry Stewart's latest digital release!  I'll post layouts and the kit tomorrow!
