Scrapping for Fun

Here are a number of layouts I've been working on over the past week.

Spoon? - Using Unique kit from Karen Funk and Protector Pockets 2 from Karla Dudley.  For the 4Way challenge at Design House Digital (DHD).

Flower Child - Using Retrospect, a DHD Collaboration, and Blueprint #12 (free!) from Gen Bursett for the June DHD blueprint challenge.

All Finished Friday

Who doesn't love a short week?!? Things seemed a little wonky at times though because I never knew what day it was!  I only have two additional layouts to share since the week was kind of crazy.  Hoping to create more over the weekend though!

Here's another layout featuring some of the great products that come with the Owl Tree Studio membership for September!  This consists mostly of the September School collaboration with a few additional extras the designers were so gracious to hand out this month!

Here's one I did with Karen Funk's new "Simplicity" kit available at Design House Digital, but created for Erica's Monday challenge at Two Peas in a Bucket.

All Finished Friday

Happy Friday everyone!  Bucks won last night!  WOO HOO!! Good way to start the season... just need to keep that momentum.  I'm just a few hours away from taking Cocoa to her first dentist appointment.  I definitely want to take pictures, but I will also have Bean in tow.  Not real sure how this is all going to work out because that kid doesn't sit still for a second.

I only have one other layout that I finished this week that wasn't a creative team requirement.  But it's from Karen Funk's "Color My World" kit and I just love it!  I just purchased her "Simplicity" kit last night and can't wait for some time to play!

If you're a scrapper, Two Peas in a Bucket is hosting an online crop tonight!  Always a lot of fun with chances to win gift certificates or kits.  Check out the link for more details.

Busy Bee!

Happy Friday everyone!  I should be receiving the new September kits to play with from Owl Tree Studio today, so I'm super excited to do some scrapping with them!  Although, that will have to wait until after my sister's bachelorette party I'm hosting tomorrow night.  Wine tasting... Dinner at an Italian restaurant... bar hoping... And I've hired a friend to drive us everywhere!  Should be fun.  Anyway, here are some additional layouts I've been working on this week.  I've been busy! (Click links for full credits).

Another one made from Vinnie Pearce's new "Journey Back" collection.
Remember the template I mentioned yesterday? Here's the layout I created with it!
This one was done for the August Scraplift challenge at Design House Digital.  Made with Karen Funk's "Make it Count" collection.

Too Good to be True

... but it is!  Vinnie Pearce, a designer at Two Peas in a Bucket was holding a drawing on her blog to win her amazing and HUGE new kit "Journey Back".  I left a comment and was the random winner!  Here's the kit I won:
This doesn't do it justice.  You would not BELIEVE the amount of goodness in here. And right now, all of Vinnie's designs are 25% at Two Peas.  Below is the first (of many, I'm sure) I did with this collection.

There's something funky going on with the alignment, so I need to fix it.  I just couldn't wait to share it before I did!  Also, below is another layout I finished from Karen Funk's "Color My World" collection.  Coincidentally, this is another kit I won this week.  I'm on a random-comment-winning role!

Carefree Alpha

Tuesday means new digikits in the store at Two Peas in a Bucket!  Today, Kerry Stewart (Kerry'd Away Designs) came out with a fun little alphabet called "Carefree" alpha.  I took yesterday's Muffin Tin meal photos and came up with this lovely sushi layout!
I also used Kerry's "Down by the Sea" kit.  Isn't that alphabet fun? It comes in blue, white, and the outline.  Here's the preview:
Here's one more layout that I did for a challenge at Two Peas (with a great free template!).  The kit is from Karen Funk's "Make it Count" at Design House Digital.  I told you I was heading over the to buy more kits!
If this is what Karen has just starting out, I can't wait to see what the future has in store for her!

Another win!

It pays to comment on fellow bloggers posts!  Karen Funk is a member of Two Peas in a Bucket who just started selling her digital scrapbooking kits at Design House Digital.  She was having a contest if you commented on her blog and told what kit of her's was your favorite, you would win that kit.  Well, I WON!!!!  Here is the kit I won:

Look at all of that digital goodness!  Plain paper, patterned paper, frames, alphabet, and elements!  WOW!!!  Here's a layout I've already done with it:
*Sigh*.  Such a beautiful kit. All of Karen's kits are 30% of through today!  I'm heading over to Design House Digital to pick up another one of Karen's gorgeous kits!

Here's one more layout that I've done since my last post.  It's a quick page you receive with your membership to Owl Tree Studio.  Each month, you receive at least 20 AMAZING quick pages that go along with the other 3-5 kits that you get that month, plus fun little extras and members only blog tutorials for $7.95!  That price is only locked in through TODAY, so head over to Owl Tree Studio and lock in this AWESOME membership rate!  Oh yeah, here's my page! :)

There is a mistake on the page... they are stargazer lilies, not casablanca.  My flower guru sister-in-law pointed this out to me.  Thanks girlie!  I'll fix that as soon as I can.  :)  But this page took me all of ten minutes to put together.  I just added the photos, did some journaling, found the quote, and added a date.  DONE!
