A NEED FOR CAFFEINE

MTM... underachiever

Muffin Tin Monday has not been extremely exciting lately.  Still, Cocoa thinks it's great!  Not too hard to please, I guess.  Last week, I did an "A" theme (Cocoa's real name begins with "a").  Here is her lunch: Rice Krispy Treats shaped in an "a", avacado, apples, and "Ants on a Log".

Last week I was in Mobile, Alabama.  I was supposed to fly out at 7am, getting back into Ohio around 1.  Saturday night I got a call from the airline saying they canceled my flight because there wasn't a crew for it.  Luckily, my parents were on the trip with me and had made the drive themselves, so I hitched a ride back.  I wasn't able to get to the store, so MTM was a crap shoot!  They had egg salad sandwiches (Bean just had eggs), string cheese cut into circles, peaches (which fell on the floor right after I took this picture, so they had oranges instead), and jello.  Bean decided that instead of eating, he would use a spoon to take things out of one muffin tin and place them in another.  It just became a big mess.  See following pictures:

Cocoa insisted that I snap a picture of her with her cheese circles.  This child must be on a growth spurt.  After eating her lunch, she insisted she was still hungry, so I gave her some trail mix (thinking the protein would help fill her up longer).  She still wanted more later. Cute little bottomless pit!  Bean, on the other hand, is pure boy and will be the death of me... and he's only 13 months.  My sanity is in jeopardy!

I'm so glad to hear that your daughter is a bottomless pit. We were wondering about this - my 3 year old has become one, too. 15 minutes after she eats breakfast, she is starving. She wants to eat all of the time so we figured she was going through a growth spurt, too.
